yup, the reason why i haven’t posted in such a long time is because, ummmm……
well, on january 27, i went to a social distortion concert at the house of blues in anaheim with some friends, and if you’re asking yourself if mikey went along, yea….he did, but it wasn’t bad…for the most part. lol.
but yea, before the concert, mikey and i were going around anaheim like…like a bunch of lost kids…in anaheim. well we had to, since the show was at 7:30 and we got there at around 3ish. i know, what to do with that time…
plain and simple, during those 4 hours of waiting, we were bored out of our fucking minds.
oh and did i mention, IT WAS RAINING LIKE FUCKING HELL! on…off…light rain…monsoon…
anyways, it was getting close to the concert time. mikey and i parked at the downtown disney parking lot as we waited for winston, stanley, and ronney (didn’t expect that did ya. oh, i forgot. we were there for our music 24b class, except for mikey).
so we got in line, and i swear…SO TRULY SWEAR…we were the only asian people there. it was kinda intimidating cause the majority of the people there were white OC bros and mexicans, lots of them (no offense).
so after absorbing all the damn water around us, we finally got inside. we planned on standing on the balcony, but to our little surprise, they were all filled. so there was only one place left to go….THE PIT.
i was scared, really scared. sure, the pit was the closest to the band, but the mosh pit….the mosh pit. would it eat me alive? will the people throw me in and yell, “GET THAT ASIAN KID!”?
nope. me, winston, and mikey were in the back of the pit, against the tech booth. if you don’t know what that means, it means that we and the other people that were avoiding the mosh were the two-person thick barrier between the tech booth and the mosh…it wasn’t a pleasant feeling. but on the bright side, the person that was in front of me was a cute girl that didn’t seem to mind that she was being pushed into me…downside:married. lol.
after the concert, mikey, winston, and i headed home. i was suffering from trenchfoot, but who wasn’t that night.
but in a musical aspect, Social D fucking rocks. period.
well this year was preeeeeetty interesting. let me see if i can recap it for you guys….
well during the beginning of the year…well, i don’t really remember the beginning of this year. sad isn’t it.
but the first thing i remember is getting hit by that fucking table umbrella the day of winter formal. i still can’t believe how that fucking umbrella managed to miss every single person that was in front of me. swerved away from all my friends and aimed its rusty bottom end at my right eye. should have sued the school…
well, after that was prom…yea, prom.
moving on we have high school graduation. our principle died [god rest his soul] and i was sick. a perfect time to get sick eh? but grad day and night was sweet.
ok, what happened in the summer…well my cousins from canada came down here, went to vegas…that was boring.
after the summer came college. i have to say that pcc ain’t that bad. but i wish i would have tried harder. took my classes for granted and at this point, i don’t know if i even passed my econ and math classes. god i hope i passed.
and know it’s christmas time and what has happened to me? absolutely nothing.
well overall, my year was ok i guess. i’ve had better, i think. wonder if something really bad is gonna happen to me in 2009…

so on saturday, my mom dragged me to go with her to my godfather’s son’s birthday in hawthorne. location of the party: chuck e. cheese. god, i haven’t been in that place in forever. i remember [barely] going there as a little kid. i also remember having one of my birthdays there too.
anyways, as we were driving there, i had it set in my mind that it wouldn’t be as busy as it used to be back in the day. there are hardly any commercials about the place, so i figured that they were barely making money. but what i saw before my eyes proved that what i was thinking about was wrong.
there were literally swarms of kids everywhere, hopped up on sugar. boy, these kids were running around everywhere, screaming their tiny lungs out. thank god that i had my psp with me. it helped to drown out the shitty music and yelling.
and i noticed something about the food there: it was greasy. their pizza is probably as greasy as the stuff you get at little caesars. now we know another place that contributes to the obesity of little kids. god bless them for shoving grease and sugar down these kids’ throats.
you know what, chuck e. cheese has never changed. it’s the same place where you take kids to get fat and loading on sugar. good times, truly good times.
i wonder how they sanitize their ball pits and tube thingys…
all i really need to say is why is it so freaking cold in the san gabriel valley?? seriously, i was hoping for this global warming would heat up the earth(i’m not saying that i’m for global warming). but no, i wake up fucking cold as hell a drive in my ice box of a car. then when i get to school, the small gusts of wind freeze your freaking face off and i swear that it hurts like hell.
all i really ask for is some god damn heat. today was ok. it was warmer than the past week, but it’s still cold as fuck. i am so grateful that my car has heated seats. but using the heater in the car doesn’t really help. it works pretty good….IF YOU STAY IN YOUR CAR!!! once you get out of your damn car, the nippy temperature takes away all the freaking heat! i just want summer to come again.
wow, i haven’t posted in such a long time. this is pretty much due to the fact that the semester’s ending. my professors are putting on the heat now. i gotta english research paper and presentation due on monday, an optional test [which i need to take to boost my grade for econ] also on monday, and a shit load of pre-calc homework that i have stupidly decided to not do until now.
now that i think of it, aren’t people suppose to work harder once they entered college? all that i’ve noticed is that people go out more and do less homework, well some of the people i know. i’m actually pretty disappointed in myself for slacking off during this first semester. for god sake, if i fuck up now, then i’m gonna have one shitty future ahead of me. i need to set my priorities straight and focus on what’s important.
oh yea…i’m still looking for s.o.s.

so today i went to the la auto show with my parents (not my first choice of people to go with, but they were paying for the admission fee so who would complain). it was a pretty good show this year. lots of new cars, especially from nissan and bmw.
i would have to say that the star of this year would be the nissan gt-r (of course)! i was literally standing in front of the car for about a good 20 minutes or more. i swear, that car made me speechless and it gives me chills every time i see it.
and after seeing all the cars, i went to the aftermarket section of the auto show and a beat these two older white guys (i think i their 40s or so) on gt4 using the logitec steering wheels. they were kinda pissed that i beat them on the high speed ring, so i left as soon as i could.
anyways, this year’s auto show was pretty good. hope that next year the other japanese companies (TOYOTA AND HONDA) will bring out their supercars.
